St Mary’s College Broome recently hosted our annual K-12 Presentation Evening, an event that brought together the entire college community to celebrate the remarkable achievements and success of our students. The evening highlighted the dedication and hard work of students from Kindergarten through Year 12, showcasing their academic accomplishments, leadership qualities, artistic ability and contributions to College life.

During the evening, students were recognised with awards for excellence across various fields, including academic performance, faith life, cultural contributions, community service, and sporting achievements. Special accolades were presented to those who demonstrated exceptional resilience, compassion, and leadership throughout the school year.

Our celebration also featured engaging performances by the College Choir and talented student musicians, and our performing arts students from across all year levels underscoring the rich artistic talents fostered at our College.

As we celebrated the achievements of our students, we took a moment through our Principal and College Captain addresses to express gratitude to our staff, families, and entire community whose ongoing support plays a vital role in creating a positive and inspiring learning environment.

A particularly emotional part of the evening was the farewell our Year 12 graduands of 2024, a moment filled with pride as the college community recognised this impressive group of young people. The graduates were congratulated and wished a future filled with joy, success, courage, and a commitment to living with a listening heart.

We expressed immense pride in each student’s journey and appreciation for the supportive community that uplifts them. Congratulations were extended not only to all award recipients but also to every student who strived to do their best throughout the year.

The K-12 Presentation Evening was a resounding success, reflecting the vibrant spirit and dedication of the St Mary’s community. It was a wonderful celebration of the hard work and achievements of our students, with St Mary’s College looking forward to another year of excellence, success, and accomplishment while continuing to uphold our core values and mission. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making the evening such a memorable occasion.
