Clontarf Academy

St Mary’s College is the only Catholic school that is blessed to have an onsite Clontarf Academy. With approximately 150 male Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students St Mary’s Clontarf Academy has recently extended onto the Primary Campus to provide their amazing services to our Year 5 & 6 students supporting students now from years 5-12.

The Clontarf Foundation exists to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men. By doing so they equip them to participate more meaningfully in society. The St Mary’s Clontarf Academy helps our young men to attend school, finish Year 12 and enter employment. They use supportive relationships, a welcoming environment and a diverse range of activities, developing improved self-esteem and confidence.
