Over the weekend staff and students from St Mary’s attended the Curtin University English and Literature Conference at Broome Senior High School. It was the first regional conference after many years of success with this event run at Curtin University in Perth offering valuable support in extending and deepening students’ understanding of ATAR level concepts and skills in English. The conference is run “university-style” by professors delivering a series of lectures and workshops. Our students were outstanding in their engagement and gained a lot from the experience.
