Our Pre-Primary students got hands-on in Design & Technologies as they explored the fascinating world of pushes and pulls!
Through a series of exciting rotation stations, students investigated how different forces can make objects move, change direction or even change shape. They experimented with parachutes, tested their strength in Tug of War, squished and stretched playdough, raced tractors through the sandpit, explored boat and water play, and investigated how balls roll and bounce across different surfaces.
The discoveries continued as students dropped objects to observe how they moved and used paint to make the effects of force visible. Pushing cars, rollers and other objects across paper created colourful tracks that helped students see the force in action.
It was a fantastic day of predicting, experimenting, observing and discovering as our young learners put their scientific thinking and problem-solving skills to work!
