Booking in an Adventure for Book Week

Our college came alive with imagination and excitement as students and staff from Kindergarten to Year 12 celebrated Book Week 2025. This year’s theme, ‘Book an Adventure’ inspired a vibrant display of costumes, storytelling, and shared love for reading and books across both campuses.

Our Primary Campus hosted its much-loved annual Book Week Parade, where students proudly showcased their creative costumes inspired by favourite book characters. From classic tales to contemporary favourites, the parade was a joyful celebration of reading and self-expression. Teachers joined in the adventure fun, donning pirate costumes and cheering on their students as families gathered to enjoy the spectacle.

Across the Secondary Campus, some of our students and staff embraced the theme with book-inspired dress-ups, library activities, and classroom discussions that highlighted the power of stories to connect, inspire, and educate.

Book Week is a special time at our college. It brings us together to celebrate the joy of reading and the creativity it sparks in our students. Seeing our college filled with colour, laughter and literary characters reminds us of the magic and adventure books bring into our lives.

Book Week 2025 was not only a celebration of literature but also a reflection of the college’s commitment to fostering a lifelong love of learning. As the costumes are packed away and the stories continue, the memories made this week will light up the hearts of students and staff for years to come. We are grateful to our incredible Library teams across our campuses, Ms Tracey, Ms Di and Ms Tracy who led us so passionately in this adventure.
