From the very beginnings of our College, the Church in Broome has contributed to the rich history and ethos that thrives at St Mary’s College, and today we continue to foster a rich and strong partnership with Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish.
Members of the College Leadership serve on the Parish Council, and the College staff are actively involved in Parish celebrations. Our students have opportunities to complete their Christian Service Learning programme by participating in key celebrations.
The Parish Priests have a strong presence at St Mary’s College, under the guidance of Parish Priest, Fr Patricio Carrera Morales who is assisted by Assistant Priest and College Chaplain Fr Liam Ryan. The Priests celebrate masses and class liturgies regularly and offer support to us in our sacramental programmes, faith development and retreat opportunities.
