From its earliest days, St Mary’s College has been deeply enriched by the presence and support of the Catholic Church in Broome. This enduring relationship continues today through a vibrant and collaborative partnership with Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish.

The College Leadership Team actively contributes to the Parish Council, and our staff regularly participate in Parish celebrations, strengthening the spiritual and communal bonds between our College and the wider faith community. Students are also encouraged to engage meaningfully through their Christian Service Learning program, taking part in key liturgical events and Parish activities.

Our Parish Priests play a vital role in the life of the College. Under the guidance of our Cathedral Administrator Fr Patricio Carrera Morales, Vicar General and College Chaplain Fr Liam Ryan, our Priests maintain a strong and visible presence. They celebrate Masses and class liturgies, and provide invaluable support in our sacramental programs, faith formation initiatives, and retreat experiences.

Together, we nurture a faith-filled environment where students, staff, and families are invited to grow spiritually and contribute to a community grounded in Gospel values.
