Y6 Digital Leaders supporting our Pre-Primary students

June 27, 2025

Our Year 6 Digital Leaders are a dedicated group of students on a mission to build tech-smart skills across our College. For their first mission of 2025, they visited the Pre-Primary classes to help our youngest learners build confidence in using technology.

The Year 6 students did an incredible job guiding the Pre-Primaries through important digital skills: signing in and out of Seesaw, taking clear photos of their work, deleting photos that didn’t turn out quite right, and most importantly, asking permission before taking photos of others.

It was wonderful to see our older students stepping up as patient, respectful mentors—and our Pre-Primary students were fantastic learners!

This initiative reflects our strong commitment to building Digital Literacy at St Mary’s, ensuring that our students can use technology effectively, creatively, and safely at every stage of their learning journey.
