During this week, the Primary campus celebrated World Mathematics Day; officially 26th March 2025. Our amazing teachers captured some moments in their classroom which celebrated learning, collaboration and problem solving. We have been busy collecting data and using this to differentiate and plan some activities that are hands on, fun, challenging and interactive. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces!
Year 1 Wanggaja have been working in pairs on Bond Block counting activities.
Year 1 Bagulbagul have been learning about 2D shapes, sorting shapes together as a team.
Year 4 Gudurrwarany have been following instructions together to construct 3D shapes.
Year 5 Jarrbu have been playing card games and board games for counting and multiplication.
Congratulations to everyone on the Primary for a solid start to our mathematics learning!
