A group of young leaders from our College recently had the opportunity to participate in the 2025 Broome Chamber of Commerce Women’s Leadership Forum, alongside our Director of Wellbeing Ms Melita Waters. The event, which focused on empowering and celebrating the achievements of women in leadership, offered our students an inspiring and eye-opening experience.
Our students eagerly listened to keynote speakers and panel discussions, where successful women from various fields shared their journeys, challenges, and triumphs. From gaining insights into leadership skills to understanding the importance of resilience and determination, the event was a masterclass in personal and professional development.
Our College Director of Wellbeing was delighted with the way in which our students engaged actively in discussions, asked thoughtful questions, and networked with other attendees. The forum also underscored the importance of nurturing future leaders and fostering a supportive environment for young women to pursue their aspirations.
“We are so proud of our students for embracing this opportunity to learn from and engage with such inspiring individuals. It’s experiences like these that build confidence and broaden horizons,” said our Director of Wellbeing.
The forum left a lasting impression on our students, many of whom expressed newfound motivation to take on leadership roles within our college and community. It was a powerful reminder of the potential that lies within the youth of today to shape the world of tomorrow.
Thank you to INPEX for providing our college students with complimentary tickets to attend.
