The spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork was on full display as selected Year 5 and 6 students from our college participated in the Derby Interschool Football and Netball Carnival. The event, held on June 19th, brought together young athletes from West Kimberley schools to compete in a day filled with excitement and exceptional sportsmanship! It was an early start for the students and staff who took on the five hour round trip with positivity!
Our football and netball teams showcased their skills and determination on the field in the round robin fixtures all day!
Some of our Certificate students from our secondary campus made the trip to Derby to umpire, score and coach for hours and skills required towards their qualification. They were wonderful representatives of our college also.
Our College continues to encourage our students to engage in sports and extracurricular activities, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and personal growth to support our learning. Thanks to our incredible staff Ms Jorje, Ms Matilda, Mr Geoff and Mr Ed, along with Clontarf support from Harry that supported these students!
