A group of enthusiastic St Mary’s College students recently had the incredible opportunity to attend the prestigious ASPIRE Camp in Perth, an initiative designed to inspire and empower young minds to explore their future pathways in education and leadership.

The ASPIRE program, hosted by The University of Western Australia (UWA), brings together students from across the state to experience university life, engage in hands-on workshops, and connect with mentors who encourage them to dream big. Over several days, participants explored a range of academic disciplines, toured campus facilities, and took part in activities that build confidence and leadership skills.

For our students, the camp was more than just an educational experience – it was a chance to broaden horizons and envision possibilities beyond school life and into their post school transition. They returned to Broome with renewed motivation, new friendships, and a deeper understanding of the opportunities available to them after graduation. We are extremely proud of our representative students and grateful to Ms Erin for her time and efforts to ensure such a wonderful experience. Programs like ASPIRE are invaluable in helping our young people see what’s possible. We are proud of their willingness to step out of their comfort zones and embrace this experience. St Marys students truly are the BEST!

Our College extends its gratitude to UWA and the ASPIRE team for making this opportunity possible and looks forward to seeing the positive impact this experience will have on our students’ future aspirations.
