November 11 marks Remembrance Day — a time of solemn reflection and gratitude.
At the eleventh hour of the eleventh day in 1918, the guns fell silent, bringing an end to the Great War. Today, our community paused in sacred silence to honour the courage of those who served, to mourn the lives lost, and to renew our prayerful hope for peace in our world.
In a special moment of unity, the college community gathered with their peers and to offer prayers for peace and remembrance. Students and staff were invited to reflect deeply on the sacrifices made and the enduring call to be peacemakers in our time.
The spirit of remembrance was felt strongly as hearts turned toward those who gave their lives in service of others. As we remember, we also recommit ourselves to building a world where peace, compassion, and understanding prevail.
Lest we forget.
