Senior students enjoyed a glamorous evening at their annual College Ball held on Friday, May 9th, at the picturesque Mangrove Hotel. The much-anticipated event began with students arriving in style at Cable Beach for a stunning photo session before heading to the Mangrove Hotel for a night filled with celebration and cherished memories.
The Mangrove Hotel, transformed into a elegant and glamorous venue, provided a breathtaking backdrop. Our Senior students danced the night away, creating an atmosphere of joy and excitement. One of the highlights of the evening was the announcement of the awards. Mahlena-Mae Clerc was crowned Best Dressed, dazzling everyone with her elegant attire. Phillip Bin Saad’s infectious energy and enthusiasm earned him the title of Life of the Party, keeping spirits high throughout the night.
The success of our College Ball was a collective effort, with heartfelt thanks extended to everyone who helped set up and prepare for the event. Their dedication ensured a fantastic night for the students. Special appreciation also goes to the committed organising committee of students and staff, asking with staff who attended and supervised, contributing to a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Their presence was greatly valued by the students, who thoroughly enjoyed having them there.
Mr. Glen, Our Head of Year 11/12 expressed his gratitude, saying, “The College Ball was a wonderful success, thanks to the hard work and commitment of everyone involved. It was a night to remember for our students, filled with laughter, dancing, and unforgettable moments.”
