We are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of one of our Year 11 students Lei Yuen, who has been selected to join the Catholic Education WA (CEWA) Student Advisory Council. Lei is one of just 20 students chosen from Catholic schools across Western Australia to represent the voices of young people in shaping the future of Catholic education.
In this prestigious leadership role, Lei will collaborate with CEWA’s Deputy Executive Director and fellow council members to identify student priorities and advocate for meaningful change. The council will explore a range of key topics, including:
- The responsible use of artificial intelligence in schools
- Student wellbeing and mental health
- Vocational Education and Training (VET) awareness
- Anti-bullying strategies
- Climate action through technology
Lei’s selection is a testament to her leadership, initiative, and commitment to making a difference. Endorsed by our College Principal, she has already stepped into this role with purpose and vision, ready to contribute to discussions that will impact students across the state. We are incredibly proud of Lei for putting herself forward and embracing this opportunity to lead, her voice will help shape the future of Catholic education not just for our college and region, but for students throughout Western Australia.
Congratulations, Lei, on this remarkable achievement!
