Our St Mary’s College Aboriginal Families As First Educators `Our Mob Playgroup’ was filled with pride and joy as families and friends gathered to celebrate the graduation of Our Mob Playgroup. This special event recognised the achievements of our littlest learners and the strong sense of community built through our playgroup.

The graduation ceremony was a vibrant celebration of culture, learning, and connection. Families, children, and staff came together to reflect on the milestones achieved during the year. The playgroup, which provides a welcoming and nurturing environment for children and their families, has been instrumental in fostering early childhood development and strengthening bonds within our community.

Our Mob Playgroup is a testament to the strength of our community. It’s a learning space where families come together, children learn through play, and our shared culture is celebrated. Graduation certificates were presented to each child, recognising their growth and participation in the playgroup – we are so proud of them all!

The celebration concluded with a shared morning tea, where families enjoyed a spread of delicious food and reflected on the year’s highlights. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the children and families of Our Mob Playgroup and express our gratitude to the dedicated staff who make this program such a success. The sense of community and pride in the room was incredible, as everyone looked forward to the next steps in their children’s educational journeys at our fabulous K-12 College, the values of Courage, Love, Empathy, Acceptance and Resilience were celebrated by all. Congratulations to all our graduating children and their families on this wonderful achievement, their futures are bright!
