Our fabulous Year 4 students took time on the Monday of Week 4 to recognise CDG Awareness Day in support of their classmate, Kelsie, who lives with Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG).

To mark the occasion, students wore green and participated in a series of group activities. These included making friendship bracelets, preparing green fairy bread, designing a class banner, and creating green slime.

The morning aimed to raise awareness about CDG and acknowledge the challenges faced by those living with the condition. It also gave students an opportunity to show support for their friend Kelsie who is a valued member of our college community.
Many of our college community joined the community fundraising on Saturday in celebration of inclusion and fundraising led by Kelsie’s amazing family. It was a day full of fun and celebration!

Please help to support Kelsie and others living with disabilities through the Saba Rose Button foundation by donating via the following link: https://www.mycause.com.au/p/370195/saba-rose-button-foundation-cdg-awareness
