Week 4 was a busy one in the Careers space at our College. On Thursday Simone from North Regional TAFE brought her fabulous Virtual Reality Career Taster devices for the Year 9s to try out. Students were able to try their skills at driving tractors, cutting hair, cooking three course meals and even open heart surgery! There are over 70 career options loaded onto the devices, including astronaut, deep sea diver and race car driver. By offering this year long program to Year 9s, we are encouraging students to be thinking about the career path they might be interested in pursuing.
