The festive season came alive at our college in our final week of 2025, at our Primary Christmas Concert which captivated families and friends with a heartwarming celebration of the real story of Christmas. The event combined faith, creativity, and community spirit, making it a highlight of our college calendar, thanks to our incredible Christmas Concert working party – they are so clever and committed!

The afternoon opened with a beautiful welcome to country and welcome of our nativity by our college captains and a special opening prayer by Fr Liam. Our year six students led our audience through a beautifully narrated Christmas story introducing each of our year levels performing their Christmas song. Their storytelling, combined with expressive drama and music, reminded everyone of the true meaning of Christmas – hope, love, peace and joy.

Adding to the magic, the concert featured an unforgettable intermission filled with laughter and cheer as staff members donned festive costumes and led us in lively Christmas-themed dances. The sight of teachers and students sharing the spotlight brought smiles and applause from the packed audience, reinforcing the strong sense of community that defines St Mary’s College.

Our Christmas concert was more than a concert – it was a celebration of faith, creativity, and togetherness. Our Year 6 students told the story of Christmas with such grace, and our staff reminded us that joy is best shared.

The evening concluded with our staff rocking around the Christmas tree. From all of us at St Mary’s College, we wish our community a blessed and joyful Christmas!
