On Tuesday, we proudly welcomed Year 4 students for our annual Taster Day to our secondary campus, giving them a vibrant and hands-on experience of what life at our College looks like. The day was filled with curiosity, creativity, and connection, helping students feel excited and confident about their future learning journey into a secondary setting.
The Taster Day featured a dynamic program designed to showcase the breadth of opportunities at our college;
- Textiles Workshop – Students explored fabric design and creative stitching, discovering the art of turning ideas into tangible creations.
- Archery Challenge – A fun and safe introduction to archery, teaching focus, precision, and perseverance.
- Sweet Home 3D – Students designed virtual rooms using digital tools, sparking creativity and problem-solving skills in technology.
- Magical Maths – Engaging puzzles and challenges that made mathematics exciting and interactive.
- Magnificent Music – A lively session where students experimented with rhythm and melody, showcasing the joy of music-making.
- Art Alive – A hands-on art experience that encouraged imagination and self-expression through vibrant projects.
- Amazing Race – A team-based adventure across the campus, promoting collaboration, resilience, and fun.
Throughout the day, students were supported by our friendly staff and student ambassadors, who shared their own experiences and answered questions. Today was about showing our primary campus students what’s possible – how learning can be exciting, challenging, and full of opportunities.
The day concluded with smiles, laughter, and a sense of anticipation for what lies ahead. Year 4 Taster Day 2025 was more than an introduction – it was the beginning of a journey where students will thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.
