Humanities

The Humanities Learning Area at St Mary’s is a place where we seek to inspire a strong connection to place, society and the world that we live in. Being based in Broome allows us to give students unique opportunities to engage in our local Aboriginal, pearling and World War II history. Students get to learn about the unique geography of the Kimberley region and come to appreciate the thriving economy Broome enjoys. We seek to create relatable and relevant learning experiences, developing practical skills in our local context here in Broome.
