Year 4
In Year 4 our students to embark on a memorable sleepover camp experience at Broome Camp School. Nestled amidst the picturesque landscape of Cable Beach, this camp is designed to foster independence, camaraderie, resilience, and personal growth. Students will participate in a wide range of outdoor activities and team-building challenges. This immersive adventure promises to create lasting memories and forge lifelong friendships.
Year 5
In Year 5 our students have the privilege of attending a Cultural Camp – Learning on Yawuru Country. Students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich heritage of the Yawuru people, under the theme of “Past, Present and Future’. Through engaging cultural activities, including traditional dance, art, and storytelling sessions, students will develop a deep appreciation for how this strong culture has existed in the past, present and aspirations for the future. This camp aims to promote cultural understanding, respect, and a sense of belonging within the broader community.
Year 6
In Year 6 our students will embark on a transformative Leadership Camp in Perth. This camp is designed to nurture and enhance students’ leadership skills, empowering them to become future leaders. Linked closely to the HASS Curriculum in Year 6, students will visit places of importance to the Australian democracy with a visit to WA Parliament House, Constitutional Centre, Electoral Education Centre, and the Perth Mint. This camp offers a unique opportunity for students to gain confidence, inspire others, and ignite their potential to make a positive impact in their communities.
