Sacramental Program

The Sacramental Program for baptised students at St. Mary’s College, is carried our in collaboration with the Parish of Our Lady Queen of Peace Cathedral. Guided by the spirit of faith and unity, this comprehensive program aims to nurture the spiritual growth of our young students.

Beginning in Year 3, students will embark on the journey of Reconciliation, a sacred sacrament that fosters self-reflection, forgiveness, and the mending of relationships with God and others. In Year 4, they will be prepared for their First Eucharist, where they will experience the profound joy of receiving the body and blood of Christ, strengthening their bond with Him and their faith community. In 2024 we will be transitioning year level offerings to align with other Western Australian Diocese so we will also be offering sacramental programs in Years 4 and 5 in 2024.

Finally, in Year 6, our students will have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, affirming their commitment to living as true disciples of Christ and receiving the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
