The playground was buzzing with excitement last week as our students from Years 1 to 6 took part in the ‘Sport Shed Olympics’, a student-led initiative that has transformed our playground into a celebration of movement, fun, and community.
Hosted by our enthusiastic Year 6 Kriss Kross Crew, this playtime event gave younger students the chance to explore and enjoy the wide range of sports equipment generously provided by the Parents & Friends (P&F) Association.
Over 2 days, Year 6 students welcomed students from 1-6 to the sport shed and modelled teamwork, turn taking and sharing. Adding to the excitement was a special surprise visit from Kriss Kross, who joined in the fun and cheered on the students.
The Sport Shed Olympics was a celebration of student voice and leadership. A huge thank you to our incredible Year Six teaching team, our amazing P&F for their generous contribution, and to our Year 6 leaders for making it all happen!
