On Tuesday, 8 April, members of the Australian Border Force (ABF) Broome Operations visited St Mary’s College, Primary Campus to donate some clothes/uniforms and several activity fun packs for students to support our school readiness program.
The visitors were welcomed by the Yr 6 SRC, Miss Coby, Miss Keryn and Miss Sara.

SMC received several skirts, shorts and library bags which were very much appreciated.
Joining the Customs personnel was a co-hort of graduate officers who enjoyed a Q and A session with the SRC and the Regional Commander and Regional Director of the WA Australian Border Force. It was an exciting morning for all and a great opportunity to find out more about the work and duties of the Australian Border Force Operations, specific to Broome and the Kimberley region.
A big thank you to Brett Skewes, the Supervisor | Operation Leedstrum of ABF Operations, Broome who initiated the visit.
