September 5, 2025

Our College proudly celebrated Teaching Assistant (TA) Appreciation Week, shining a spotlight on the incredible dedication, compassion, and support our ATA’s and TA’s bring to our classrooms every single day.

From our littlest learners to our biggest learners, our ATA’s and TA’s are the champions who support our students thrive, whether it’s through one-on-one support, small group learning, or simply being a steady, caring presence in the room. Their work often goes unseen, but its impact is deeply felt by our students, teachers, and families alike.
Our TAs and ATA’s are the backbone of our high expectations, culturally safe and highly inclusive education at our college. They bring patience, creativity, and a deep commitment to every student’s success. This week is about recognising their vital role and saying a big, loud thank you!

Throughout the week, staff and students joined in the celebrations with morning teas, thank-you cards, classroom surprises, and a special notes from our students sharing stories and thanks of how our ATA’s and TA’s have made a difference in their learning journeys.

As the week wraps up, the College community extends its deepest appreciation to all Teaching Assistants and First Nations Educators. Your work matters. You are seen. And you are truly valued. THANKYOU!
