St Mary’s College is thrilled to announce that student Dann Oswald was awarded a Certificate of Merit for his outstanding performance in Dynamic Storytelling at YOHFEST 2024.

YOHFEST, one of Western Australia’s premier youth performing arts festivals, drew fierce competition from across the state, with only seven solo or duo finalists making it to the grand stage after regional heats and finals across the state.

Performing in front of an audience of over 700 people, Dann captivated the crowd and received well-deserved recognition for his storytelling skills. He has every reason to be proud of his achievement and the remarkable experience of performing at this level. It’s a unique opportunity that few students get to experience, and Dann’s dedication and talent have certainly made our St Mary’s community extremely proud.

We would also like to express our gratitude to YOHFEST for providing this platform once again, allowing our students to showcase their creativity and passion.

As we look forward to YOHFEST 2025, excitement is already building around next year’s theme: Colour My World. With endless possibilities for creative expression, we can’t wait to see what our talented students will bring to the stage!

Congratulations again to Dann, and thank you to everyone who supported him on this journey.
