St Mary’s College primary students are enjoying a brand-new playground following the successful award of a small-scale election grant, marking an exciting addition to the wonderful new classrooms on our Primary Campus!
The newly completed play area features modern equipment designed to encourage physical activity, adventure, and social interaction. With a mix of climbing structures, monkey bars, firefighter’s poles, cargo nets, jungle ropes and more students are loving sharing this space with their peers!
“Playgrounds are more than just places to play – they are opportunities for young people to build friendships, develop physical skills, and take time to recharge during the school day,” Ms Coby Rhatigan, College Principal, said. “We are incredibly grateful to receive this funding in order to bring this project to life for our students.”
Ms Divina D’Anna, Member for Kimberley MLA even popped by this week to check out this fabulous playground herself!
This playground will be enjoyed for years to come and is a great example of how investment in local schools strengthens the whole community.
