From day one, these bright young learners have settled beautifully into life at our Early Learning Centre, bringing energy, curiosity, and an awesome sense of wonder to our growing Pre‑Kindergarten to Year 12 pathway. We commenced the year with 15 Little Saints, who had already turned three and look forward to our last few classmates turning three very soon and being able to join our `Little Saints’ class.
It has been heart‑warming to witness how confidently the Little Saints have adapted to their new environment. Supported by our dedicated early years educators, the children have quickly formed routines, built friendships, and embraced the rhythm of school life. Their sense of belonging has been clear from the very first week.
Already, our littlest learners have been busy engaging in rich, play‑based experiences that nurture the foundations of literacy, numeracy, creativity and social development in a fun and play based way.. From sensory exploration and early storytelling to hands‑on discovery and imaginative play, our Little Saints are learning about their world in active, joyful ways that lay the groundwork for a lifelong love of learning.
Our Little Saints continuation into 2026 represents an exciting step in our vision for a seamless educational journey from Pre‑Kindergarten through to Year 12. These children are not only the youngest members of our community – they are an essential part of the story we are building together at St Mary’s College. Seeing them grow, learn and thrive reminds us of the importance of strong early foundations, and just how meaningful the early years are in shaping capable, confident and compassionate young people.
