What a wonderful celebration of stories, imagination and creativity at St Mary’s College as our students brought the 2026 Book Week theme, A Symphony of Stories, to life!
The Book Week Parade was a joyful showcase of the incredible creativity of our students, with characters from much-loved books filling the College with colour, music and plenty of smiles. From clever character costumes to imaginative interpretations of favourite stories, students embraced the opportunity to celebrate the books and characters that inspire them.
There was a wonderful sense of excitement as students proudly paraded their costumes, sharing their love of reading with friends, teachers and families. The parade reminded us that books can transport us to different worlds, introduce us to unforgettable characters and spark our imaginations in so many wonderful ways.
A huge thank you to our families for supporting students with their creative costumes and to our staff for helping make Book Week such a memorable celebration. Most importantly, congratulations to our students for embracing the spirit of A Symphony of Stories with such enthusiasm, creativity and joy!
