The All Abilities Carnival, proudly organised by the Shire of Broome, brought together students from across the College for a vibrant day celebrating inclusion, participation, and the joy of sport. With the support of Netball Australia, Kickability, WA All Abilities Football, Basketball WA, Tennis West, and Netball WA, students had the opportunity to rotate through a wide range of fun, engaging, and skill‑building activities.
From fast‑paced ball games to creative skill drills, every station encouraged teamwork, confidence, and connection. The oval and courts were full of laughter, cheering, and students giving everything a go — a true showcase of what inclusive sport is all about.
In addition to the sporting organisations, we were fortunate to have KAMS, Garnduwa, and Kimberley Therapy Services attending to provide valuable support throughout the day. Their presence added depth to the event, highlighting the importance of community partnerships in creating accessible and meaningful opportunities for all young people.
Students came together across year levels, trying new sports, learning new skills, and celebrating each other’s efforts. The atmosphere was positive, energetic, and full of smiles — a reminder of how powerful inclusive sport can be in building confidence and connection.
