Bus Service

The school is serviced by two rural school buses. These service:

  • Roebuck Plains
  • Coconut Wells

Enquiries should be directed to Mr Peter Jeffery, 0427 091 092.

The school is also serviced by three town buses. These service:

  • Cable Beach and Broome
  • Sunset Park, Sunset Rise and Roebuck

Enquiries should be directed to Town Bus Service, 9193 6585.

It is the parent’s responsibility to ring the bus companies to arrange for their child/children to catch the school bus.

School Bus Regulations state that children must obey the following rules for bus travel:

  1. Do not change seats while the bus is in motion.
  2. Do not lean out of the window or against the door at any time.
  3. No food or drink to be consumed on the bus.
  4. Do not cause any disturbances or interfere with other children.
  5. No form of vandalism will be tolerated.
  6. You must obey the instructions of your bus driver.
  7. After alighting from the bus, children must stand back until the bus has moved away. Do not cross the road until the road is clear.

Term 2  

WELCOME TO TERM TWO, 2017

The solemnities of the feast of Easter have passed but the ongoing message of Christ’s love and self-sacrifice stands. It is remembered too in the scriptural epithet or saying often inscribed on war memorials: ‘greater love hath no man than this; that he should lay his life down for his friend’. Sometimes this biblical expression is abbreviated to: Greater love hath no man … ANZAC Day recalls that supreme sacrifice made by so many. It is appropriate that the College reflects on the symbolism of the day and that as a community we do our best to live out the College prayer which in part refers to the Lord God whose spirit of wisdom dwelling in the Yawuru country may teach us... and asks that each of us respect and support others ...with a listening heart.
